Venus ("we", "us") provides AI-generated advertising creative and ad campaign management for small businesses that sell physical products. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
What we collect
- Account information from your sign-in provider (name, email address).
- Store and product data you connect (e.g. Shopify catalog: product names, prices, images) so we can generate ad creative from it.
- Product photos you upload, and the AI-generated images and ad copy created from them.
- Advertising account information you connect (e.g. Meta ad account, Page, and campaign performance data), used solely to create and manage the ad campaigns you approve.
- Billing information, processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe) — we never store your card details.
How we use it
- To generate ad creative from your product photos and catalog data.
- To create, monitor, and manage ad campaigns on advertising platforms you connect, on your explicit instruction.
- To enforce usage limits tied to your subscription plan.
- To provide customer support and respond to feedback you send us.
What we don't do
- We never sell your data to third parties.
- We never increase your ad spend or make ad account changes without your approval — see our in-app activity log for a full record of every automated action.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Venus, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (billing), Cloudflare (image storage), Google and OpenAI (AI generation), and Meta (advertising, when you connect an ad account). Each provider processes only the data necessary to perform its function for you.
Your controls
You can disconnect any connected account (Shopify, Meta) at any time from your dashboard. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no retention flow. To request deletion of your data, contact us using the details below.
